On suffering a bereavement, the funeral can be a most difficult day in your life. All you ever thought about a loved one is expressed on that day.
Sometimes a death may be expected, but nothing prepares you for the emotional shock of losing someone, and we would count it as a privilege to help you make the arrangements to pay your last respects to someone you have loved and cared for.
The thought of arranging a funeral, especially in the midst of emotional stress, can leave the bereaved completely disorientated and unsure of what to do. This is exactly the situation that your Funeral Director understands and is able to deal with.
A Funeral Director's services start from the moment you make contact, either by telephone or by calling personally into his office, and until after the deceased is laid to rest. The arrangements are usually made in your own home, or can be made at the Funeral Director's Office. On initial contact, the Director will require some details from you regarding the deceased, such as their age, place of death, your relationship and the type of funeral you require. He will tell you of the relevant forms which will be needed and may advise that the deceased be taken to our private Chapel of Rest. The funeral will be arranged for a time that is suitable to you and to a standard and procedure which will meet the needs and requirements of the family.
